Effective Monday, June 4, 2007,
the opening time for CME Lean Hog and Frozen Pork Belly Futures and Options contracts
will change to
9:05 a.m. Central Time (CT), from the current 9:10 a.m. CT. This change
applies to CME Lean Hog and Frozen Pork Belly futures and options traded via open outcry on the CME
Trading Floors, as well as those traded electronically on the CME Globex
®
platform for opening each Monday morning. Market closing times remain
unchanged.
This change is being implemented for consistency’s sake and to facilitate the use of
implied functionality for inter-commodity spreads.
